Dyed patching and piecing

here it is - dyed!





Sponge dyed with procion dyes on the Ruth Issett workshop - I used linen, cotton, silk, viscose and rayon fabrics and yarns.  I wanted a flood effect of colour merging through, and I may in the future embellish it further.  Still deciding!

    Hi Tracy, I love this piece - the colours are so strong and vibrant...saying that I liked it in its natural state aswell.

      Hi Pauline - I cut the original piece in half so I could dye one and keep the other natural - as I like it too! Thank you.
