  1. Tracy, what a creative genius! I would never have believed it possible to achieve such lovely effects from just herringbone stitch.

  3. Love this! I was amazed when I scrolled down and found it is all done with one stitch.

I notice that you have it on a millennium frame and have a question. Do you think that these frames are suitable for any type of embroidery given that they only stretch the fabric in one direction?

I wonder because I have one which I find fantastic for my cross-stitch but am extending my repertoire to other techniques and wonder if I can use should invest in a slate frame?

    Thanking you in advance.

    1. Hello Irene

For me, the ultimate frames are those that pull in both directions, such as the slate or peg frames, as I think it is important to have tension both ways, otherwise the fabric distorts a bit.

The millennium frames are great for small projects, sampling, and are really well made.

I think both the millennium frames and the slate frames have their uses.

      Hope this helps.
