symmetrical design . . .

progress so far
My working frame showing the symmetrical design, trying to balance every stitch on both the left and right hand sides.  It is really easy to have seeding on one side worked closer together or bigger than the other.  Difficult . . .

  1. Hi Tracy,
The center leaves are just lovely! I like the pointy ends you've gotten on them - really nice. Lines for the Bayeux stitch were so helpful for me - it's so easy to get the laid stitches off and then by the side of the shape you're laying down slanted stitches!
Thanks for linking to my site!
    Liebe Grusse,

    1. You're welcome Kathy - keep checking your blog too. I will not be working on it for a good week as I have other work pending for Lent, but will be posting again after that. Really enjoying the crewel work and glad we are working for the same goal. Good publicity for Nikki I hope. x
