unless its actaully flying from a flg pole its union flag, i know this because the nerds in my life pull me up on it every time i slip...
Hi Opusanglicanum - I have also heard/read/discovered, that the Union Jack is in fact - a flag flown from a ship (and a lot more to it than just this), but generally the Union flag is now more commonly known as the Union Jack - hence my title, but I always knew this would never be straight forward, but most people know what a Union Jack is, and possibly not a Union flag. Either way, I love the flag, and I always wanted to work with the design, and the opportunity to teach it is how it has ended up on my blog, plus very apt for this year. More postings of it will be coming throughout the year and it may be in an exhibition at some point. More to come . . .
There's nothing like a bit of organised chaos, is there?=) (Says she, looking around herself....)
I kind of work in quite a neat organised manner - however, within that is a bit of chaos and untidiness, plus that gold thread just keeps falling off the reel into a tangled mess - so I have learnt to live with it!
